Welcome to Mountain Lodge, a spacious and secluded gem nestled
between the ocean and a mountain on the edge of Victoria.
We offer four penthouse suites, two facing the water
and two looking into the misty pines of Mount Douglas
Park.
Each is of the highest quality and comfort.

and a wood-framed king size bed await you in this corner
of paradise. Local artisans have furnished the interior
with beautiful handiwork. You’ll find a number of
woodcarvings on the grounds outside.

Each suite offers a television
and VCR, a fireplace, and a writing desk for you to enjoy.
Floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light
while affording a classic view of BC’s unforgettable
west coast. It’s not uncommon to spot deer, bald
eagles, or even the odd grey whale in the area.

Each suite offers a double
Jacuzzi tub and a separate bathroom. Step in and relax
after a long day in the woods! Just outside, Mount Douglas
Park offers a network of footpaths through its shadowy
stands of old growth firs. Reach the top, and all Victoria
spreads out like a map beneath you.

The bathroom also has
a shower, should you be in a rush. Don’t forget to
visit the golf and country club nearby, and stop in at
the bakery along the way. A number of small organic farms
are also in the neighborhood, a phenomenon you’ll
only see in a city like Victoria.

Enjoy fresh coffee and
cold refreshments in your room. Breakfast is served in
a comfortable dining room downstairs. Downtown is just
a ten minute drive or taxi ride away. Once you’re
there, everything is within walking distance. Check out
the Royal BC museum, go for sushi, rent out a kayak in
the Inner Harbour, or take in some theatre.
