Welcome to Maple Wood Cottage. This 2.5 acre Lakefront Property is nestled in the woods of Elk Lake and offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main (top) floor of this two level home. This cozy country chalet has a warm rustic feel and its forest setting offers quietness, peacefulness and tranquility. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and feature spectacular gardens.

The living room has a large wood burning rock fireplace to keep things cozy on chilly winter evenings. This a great spot to gather with friends and enjoy a nice bottle of wine or to curl up with a good book or movie. The living room has floor to ceiling windows that provide great views of the lake forest and mountains.

The fully equipped kitchen gets plenty of natural light from a large window over the sink that looks to the forest. It has plenty of counter space and solid wood cabinets; appliances include fridge, stove, microwave oven and dishwasher.

This is an informal eating area; it has a pass through to the kitchen that makes serving meals a breeze. This room has a sliding glass door that provides access to the huge wrap around deck and grounds.

The dining room has a beautiful dining room suite and is ideal for enjoying sit down dinners. Large windows in this room look to the forest on one side and the lake and mountains on the other.

The bright and spacious master bedroom has views of the lake and mountains. Creature comforts include an ensuite powder room, plenty of closet space and a queen bed with quality linens.

The main bathroom is wonderful. It has a huge jetted soaker tub and a separate shower. Enclosed in glass and looking over the fish pond the tub provides a true sanctuary to relax and unwind. This room has tile floors and plenty of cabinet and counter space.

The fish pond is stocked with fish and lily pads. It can be accessed by the second bedroom and viewed from the jacuzzi tub. This wonderful area is very private and has a large exposed aggregate patio that is surrounded by huge mature Rhododendrons. This property offers very serene surroundings.
