sandy cove. Huge windows and a spacious wooden
deck enlarge the suite and offer ever-changing ocean
and mountain views. Sightings of Blue Heron, otter,
wild birds, ducks, sea lions, and seals are common
and on rare occasions whales may even be spotted.

two bedrooms, a gas fireplace and a fully equipped
kitchen. Many of the furnishings are handcrafted
from driftwood off the beach. This fully equipped
suite has everything you will need for a wonderfully
relaxing vacation. There are multiple outdoor
patios and seating areas, a pond, a barbecue, and
terraced rock gardens with native seaside plants.

Facing the ocean, the house
is a very peaceful and quiet retreat. It seems far
from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet the
downtown core is just 5 minutes away. This home
has a charming cottage feel with wood floors and
a large open concept living area with kitchen alcove.
Artistic use of driftwood and rock around the fireplace
is one of the unique details of this suite. For
your entertainment you will find 2 televisions with
3-tier cable, a VCR and a CD player.

Fully equipped kitchen also has magnificent ocean views. You
will find everything you need to whip up gourmet meals and the
open floor plan makes serving them a breeze. Kitchen has fridge,
stove and microwave oven.

a handcrafted driftwood bed frame with a queen size mattress.

lots of character also. It contains a double bed
and a twin rollaway bed may be placed in the alcove.
The suite sleeps a maximum of 6 people, including
the couch in the living room. This home provides
some of the most pleasant and relaxing settings
I have ever been in.

as a true beach house should be. This nice bathroom has West
Coast flair.

Blue Heron
is located on the very south coast of Vancouver Island,
With views towards Beacon Hill Park and Washington State's
Olympic Mountains. A real plus is the lovely neighbourhood
and the waterfront walking, jogging and biking trails
in this area. The property is located at the start of
several miles of public park landing running along the
south coast of Vancouver Island and you can walk for miles
either on the beach or headland paths. Beacon Hill Park,
a huge city park with children's play areas and a petting
zoo is just mere minutes away.
